As a food reviewer of Grubbio, I can wholeheartedly say that Prince Street Pizza has something special. The atmosphere might be small and cozy, with just a couple of standing tables, but the energy and aroma radiating from the kitchen more than make up for it. Patrons can savor both pan and regular pizza slices, each crafted with a passion that reflects the bustling streets of New York City.
One standout feature is their Spicy Spring Pizza, celebrated for its impeccable crunch and the quality of its pepperoni—a favorite among returning customers. The enticing mix of Fra Diavolo Sauce, Fresh Mozzarella, and Pecorino Romano elevates each bite, enticing your taste buds in a delightful way. Not to forget, the popular offerings like the Naughty Pie and Sunset Pizza showcase a tantalizing blend of flavors that leave patrons raving and returning for more.
But it’s not just about the pizza. The sides and salads shine just as brightly. For instance, their Caesar Salad comes adorned with romaine, pepperoni bacon bits, and seasoned croutons, all drizzled with creamy Caesar dressing—proving that every component of the menu is crafted with care. And let’s not overlook the delectable Arancini, a perfect accompaniment for those looking to ignite their culinary adventure.
In the age of mass-produced dining, Prince Street Pizza offers a refreshing escape for food enthusiasts. Its dedication to quality has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by satisfied customers like Tariq Subhani, who confidently affirm that this pizzeria brings authentic New York flavors to the West Coast. The expertly baked crust provides just the right balance of crispiness and chew, allowing each slice to evoke memories of the renowned pizzerias back East.

Went to this location because I remember enjoying the San Diego location. Parking is ok in the garage next door though was a bit crowded since it was a Friday night. Got a slice of original Prince and I think of a Spicy Vodka each was about $6-8. Wait was about 10-15 min. Though I slightly enjoy the San Diego location better, this location is just as good. The Original Prince is good but I definitely enjoyed the Spicy Vodka (or one of the Sicilian-style vodka slices) much more. Glad this place is just as good. Pizza: 8.5/10

It's the best pizza I have ever had. It's a small pizza shop, no seating but 2 wall tables for standing inside. They have two types of pizza: pan and regular slice. LOVE both, but we are hooked on the spicy spring. The crunch is insane and the quality of the pepperoni is so good. We have come here several times to test it's consistency and they did well. They make the slices non-stop throughout the day, too. We love this place and will always come when craving pizza!

After moving to Southern California 10 years ago from New York, we’ve been on a long, frustrating search for real New York-style pizza. Plenty of places claim they do NY-style, but very few actually deliver. Prince Street Pizza does—and then some. This is hands down the best pizza we’ve had in SoCal. The crust is perfectly crisp with just the right chew, the sauce is rich without being overpowering. Every bite brings back memories of the real deal back East. It’s rare to find a spot that doesn’t just talk the talk but truly nails the flavor, texture, and attitude of New York pizza. Prince Street Pizza is the real thing. If you’re from NY or just know what great pizza tastes like, this place will hit the mark. Absolutely fantastic. Worth the wait, the hype, and the drive.

I was craving good pizza, and skipped California Pizza Kitchen to try something new and less "commercialized". Josh provided us with exceptional service! He was polite, attentive, and took the time to explain the ingredients in the different pizzas! The meat lovers and spicy spring were Crispy thick crust, creamy gooey cheese, crunchy mini pepperoni, sliced sausage. Incredible. We will definitely make sure to stop at this little pizza joint again next time we're in the neighborhood!

Plenty of options at Prince street pizza, and all of them look and smell great. The prices are good as well. Two slices for about $15 for high quality pizza is a good deal. Two can get you full easily too. My picks this time were the the naughty pie and sunset pizza. Both had hints of sweetness and spicy in them but different tastes. I liked the sunset pizza a little bit more. I generally love meat pause but the sunset’s texture and consistency made it for me. Next time I’d like to try the thinner style. Detroit style pizza trumps all but I want to see how the thin New York style would taste like.
